For as long as he can remember, music has been an integral part of Numan Senman’s life. By age 8 he was playing the clarinet in elementary school, and by age 13 he started playing the guitar inspired by a middle school friend who played him many of the songs from the first Van Halen album. Mind blown!!! At that very moment he knew the guitar would be something he would journey on with for the rest of his life.
By the time he was in his 20’s he was playing the club circuit in various bands. Local rock bands like Driven, who gained considerable popularity in the Connecticut area during the early 2000’s. He continued to always practice, learning as much as he could on the guitar learning many different genres of music like rock, jazz, blues, latin, metal, and progressive rock.
Now, Numan is part of the “Feels like Foreigner” family and is blessed to be playing with not just a bunch of good musicians but good people as well. “Foreigner was one band that was always playing on the stereo in our house growing up, especially with my mom who loved most of their popular hit songs. So, I ended up loving them as well, and bought every record on vinyl. Their songs are timeless and always will be. I love playing these songs”.
